Everest Gokyo lake trekking route is the eccentric traditional route of Everest base camp which offers a splendid view of great ranges of the mountain including the top of the world along with the largest glaciers of the world i.e. Ngozumpa glaciers. One of the beautiful and most amazing features of this trekking is the ice ridge between the Mt. Cho Oyu 8,201 m, and Gyachung. Similarly, we can view the beautiful lakes of Gokyo around the valley at the altitude of 4,757m. The Gokyo Ri 5,340m. Maybe the most beautiful views of this trek as it contains a number of beautiful and highest mountains of that region.During the whole trek, we will meet people of different culture and traditions. Generally, the time of September to November and March to May are considered as the best season of trekking in this region.
The trekking to this region starts with the flight over to Lukla from Kathmandu. Then the trail will follow the path to Namche Bazaar to Dole to Machermo to Gokyo lakes viewing some spectacular view around Gokyo lakes along with the soaring mountains and back to the Kathmandu following the return way from Dole to Khumjung and Lukla.
